Exciting thing #2: There is a big behind-the-scenes feature on Doomsday Knits in the latest issue of Knit Edge! It features embarrassing pictures and a lot of me chattering. There's a ton of other great stuff in there too, so I recommend picking it up even if you give no damns about the book.
Exciting thing #3: I got my contributor copy of Stitching in the Stacks! Lots of good stuff in this one, if you haven't perused.
Look, there I am! Yaaaay!
Other, slightly less exciting things: I've got a stack of hats to block about a foot tall, so as soon as I can convince myself to stop knitting and go handle the slightly-less-fun part, I'll have some more patterns to share. I'm having a bit of backdrop ambivalence, though- I thought that using the plain white wall in my new place would be nice and clean and peaceful, but really it comes out looking a bit dull and dingy unless the lighting outside happens to be perfect. I'll have to do some experimenting and see what else I can come up with. The kitchen is a great shade of gray but there's no unoccupied wall space. Hmmm. In the meantime, here is a dog.
