Travis took these ones:

(Though I black & whited them.) My body doesn't handle altitude as well as it apparently used to, so I was pretty lazy while we were there (I've been higher places during roadtrips and been fine. Weird.) But it was very relaxing, and I got lots of knitting done and soaked up lots of lovely sunny-breeziness (and barely burnt my face at all, somehow.) Amazingly perfect weather. And I do so enjoy hanging out with the Schuster gang (which is probably a good thing, as I expect they'll be around awhile, what with me marrying into the bunch.) Travis hiked his face off and somehow magically avoided falling off of things and horrible sunburn. He's tricksy like that.
I love the photos, the black and white really suits them. I'm sure it was very peaceful. And that squirrel is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love it up there
ReplyDeleteTiredness might be more than just the altitude...I was exhausted during my first trimester. Not that you ever mentioned that you are expecting, but that was the first thing that came to mind. If so, I'd love to see the baby knits you come up with!
ReplyDeleteHaha.. no, no, definitely not pregnant. Though I bet knocking out baby garments is really fast and satisfying.
