Bits and bobs

So I spent a bunch of time packing up all my gifts to bring home before realizing (doh!) that I still needed to take pictures of all of the knits. So that will be tomorrow's goal: unpacking, picturing, repacking. And forcing my sister's #^@*! slippers to felt (our washing machine- or rather, our landlord's washing machine- is not working, at the worst possible time, so I'm trying to boil them on the stove but I might just have to run out and buy her something else to hold her over.)

'Course, I still can't post the pictures til after the holidays. So here are some not-knitting-related things!

I don't know if you know this, but it is rather moist in the pacific northwest. Fungi get pretty excited about it.

The dog stashes all his toys back there. I think he thinks we can't go there, because we don't very often.
