Free Pattern! Mossy Pebbles Scarf

Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Luscious Single Silk in Mossay, 1 skein. You will be holding the yarn double, so you’ll probably want it wound into a center pull ball so you can work from both ends. If substituting, note that these skeins are BIG. You’ll want at least 500 yards of a worsted weight to hold doubled, or 250 of a chunky weight.
Gauge: It’s a scarf. You’ll be ok.
Needles: 7.0mm straight needles (or circs, but you’ll be working back and forth.) If you can’t find a 7.0mm, I’m sure a US 11 would be just fine.

Directions:

Holding the yarn doubled, CO 18 stitches.

1. K1, *yo, k2tog *, repeat between stars until there is one stitch left, k1.

That’s all. Do that every row. Then add fringe, if you want it (mine was a little bit of leftover Malabrigo Chunky...no idea what color.) Weave in the ends. Wahoo!

This pattern is super easy to modify for just about any yarn – just cast on an even number of stitches and work on appropriately sized needles. But if you make it bulky, it absolutely flies by. Keep this in mind when you still need three presents on December 15th.
