I'm sorry, I'm just a bit confused. DO you make the triangles separately and then seam them together, or is it one continuous piece? It looks awesome though!
Gaps where? It's been a few years since I made this so I don't know if I'll be much help, but it's pretty similar to any other multidirectional scarf (this one for instance: http://www.monradguitars.com/tknitting/multidirectionalscarf.htm)
construction-wise, anyway...just in stockinette and not garter, and in two colors.
Hey, I know you wanted feed back on this, I just posted a link to a gal on Crafster.org who was looking for a pattern somewhat like this. So, hopefully she will try this out and give you some feed back!
Holy Goodness!!!!!!! This is beautiful!! You are AMAZING. Honestly...you make my knitting look so lame. Haa. I love all your patterns, but however, am uncapable of making anything of it since I can only knit the garter stitch, stockinette, purl, and rib. And I have absolutely no idea, but one day...I'll figure it out cause I want to make this scarf so much.
I'm a beginning knitter and kind of confused by your pattern. on the rows where your decreasing and then turning are you slipping the rest of the stitches or what? Or am I reading the pattern wrong?

ReplyDeleteIt's all one piece :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying out this pattern for the first time, and I keep getting gaps between the triangles. How do I fix this?

Add in some increasing and decreasing and that's all you need to know :-)

ReplyDeleteThey're short rows, you just leave the rest of the stitches where they are.
